5 Frame Nucs - Gentle Texas Bees

$250 with a $100 deposit required on each Nuc ordered.

Pick Up Location: Brookshire, Texas

All Nucs will be available for pickup in the order deposits are paid.

We will contact you to schedule a pick up time for your NUC pickup. The dates of availability may be earlier or later depending on the weather.

• Our bees have moderate temperament, are productive, and disease tolerant.

• Raised at Hepplewhite Farms Apiraries in Fort Bend and Waller Counties (in Texas).

• Each Deep Nuc comes with

  • 5 Frames of bees, eggs, larvae, brood in all stages of development, honey/nectar, and pollen

  • a mated and laying queen

• All Nucs are naturally treated for mite control and fed healthy antioxidants and other nutrients for a natural boost to their immune systems and hive growth.  

• Our apiary is inspected yearly by the Texas Apiary Inspection Service with favorable results each year.

If you are just starting out, we recommend you begin with at least two hives so you can compare each hive’s progress, share resources between them if one falls behind, and generally learn how hives operate and grow.
