Introduction to Beekeeping - 4.5 hour class is for potential beekeepers and those just starting out.

Live Hive Inspection.
Class participants must wear protective gears when participating in the Live Hive demonstration. Projective gear includes closed toe shoes, leather gloves, a bee suit or a veil with a long sleeved shirt and long pants.
We will be observing an active bee hive with the possibility of stings. If you are allergic to bees or bee stings, you cannot participate in this class. Class participants must be 13 or older and children under 18 must have a parent also attending the class.
All classes are contingent on the weather and will be rescheduled if the forecast calls for rain or temperatures below 65 degrees.
Limit 10 participants per class.
